Senior Yearbook Pictures: All seniors who want their picture in the Westside yearbook must be photographed at Prestige Studio. The base charge for the yearbook picture is $10 but there are many packages available for purchase. Portraits can be scheduled at the Katy location over the summer. Call (281) 492-9361 ‎for details or other locations. Freshmen, sophomores and juniors will be photographed on campus this fall at a date to be announced.

Tuesday, May 1st   – Friday, May 11th - Prom Ticket Sales

  • Prom Tickets will be sold in the Commons during both lunches
  • Cost is $50 per ticket (cash or money orders only).  Students who earned free tickets through the pen sale still need to complete and turn in the Prom Contract
  • Your senior dues (and the senior dues of your senior date) must be paid before tickets can be purchased. 
  • Late sales will be Monday and Tuesday, May 14th and 22nd .  There will be an additional $10/ticket charge for late sales.
  • Make sure you have the completed Prom Contract, your ID, the ID of your date and CASH OR MONEY ORDER

Seniors Honor Night is Wednesday, May 16, 2012.

Senior Final Exam Schedule

May 23 - Periods 3, 5, and 7
May 24 - Periods 4 and 6
May 25 - Periods 1 and 2 (with underclassmen)

Prom:  Omni Westside – I-10 and Eldridge. 

Entrance into Prom is from 8 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.  When you enter prom, you and your date are required to have photo IDs.  ONCE YOU ENTER, YOU MAY LEAVE AT YOUR LEISURE, BUT MAY NOT RE-ENTER.  It is not a Lock-in.
After-Prom – Dave & Buster’s in the Marquee Center 7620 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77024,
1 a.m. – 5:30 a.m. – After-Prom:  Entrance into After-Prom is from 1 a.m. – 2 a.m.  When you enter After-Prom, you and your date are required to have photo IDs.  You must be in by 2:00.  ONCE YOU ENTER, YOU MAY LEAVE AT YOUR LEISURE, BUT MAY NOT RE-ENTER.  It is not a Lock-in. 

Tuesday, May 29th – Graduate Panoramic Picture

  •  8:30 am
  • DO NOT BE LATE.
  • BRING YOUR GRADUATION GOWN (you don’t need your hat)
  • The cost of the panoramic picture is included in your Senior Dues – however, there will be a “fun shot” available for $10.

Wednesday, May 30th  – Senior Picnic – 5:00 – at Westside – dress for mess!

Thursday, May 31st – Graduation Practice

  • Meet in the Commons at 11:30
  • You will pick up your card from around the Wolf and then put yourself in line
  • We  will practice the procession and the recession
  • We will also practice crossing the stage and “grab with the left, shake with the right, look at the camera and smile”
  • Seniors who will be on the stage and those giving speeches, plan to stay afterwards for about 30 minutes

Saturday, June 2nd  – GRADUATION

  • Hofheinz Pavilion on the campus of the University of Houston.
  • The ceremony will begin at 5:00; HOWEVER, graduates will need to arrive at 3:30.  Please plan on there being heavy traffic.
  • Graduates are not allowed to have purses, phones, cameras, flowers, or mp3 players.
  • Seriously, no phones.  Security will confiscate any phone they find during searches or see being used.  Sorry, not Westside’s rule…
  • Audience will not be allowed to enter with balloons, flowers, banners, or noise makers.
  • Seniors arrive in appropriate attire.
  • Ladies
    • Watch the white shoes!
    • Remember that there is a ramp leading down onto the floor of the Pavilion.  It can be slippery – watch those heels!
    • This is a dressy event – no jeans, athletic shoes
  • Gentlemen
    • No jeans
    • No athletic shoes
    • Dark pants work best, with a white shirt and a tie.
  • No tickets are required.  However, your family members will not be allowed to save seats. 
  • MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR CAP AND GOWN!!
  • ALL GRADUATES AND GUESTS WILL BE WANDED AND BAGS WILL BE SEARCHED.
