NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Form Distribution/Mandatory Training for Off-Campus and Parking (seniors and juniors) is Monday-Wednesday, August 11-13, Monday, August 18 and Wednesday, August 20 from 4:00-4:45 pm. Come to the WHS Mini-Theatre on any of the dates noted at 4:00 pm (be prompt!) to pick up an Off-Campus Form, Off-Campus Lunch Form and/or the WHS Parking Form. You will also receive the mandatory 10-minute training from Officer Alainiz required for these privileges. Please remember, to receive off-campus privileges you must meet eligibility requirements which will be reviewed at the sessions. Forms are also available in the main office but you must come to campus for the training! Student lot parking spaces for both Westside assigned and PTO reserved will go on sale August 20, 2008 at 8:00 am in S-207.
- Junior Wolf Day is Monday, August 18, and begins at 1:00 pm. All students will receive their I.D. badges, schedules, textbooks and locker assignment. Schedule Change Request Forms will be available to complete and submit but please keep in mind that it will take time to process these and your schedule on the first day of school may not reflect any changes. Remember, on Monday and Wednesday you can also pick-up the forms and attend the mandatory training for off-campus privileges and parking at 4:00 pm.
- Off-Campus I.D. Badge Pick Up (seniors and juniors) is Saturday, August 23, from 9:00 am—1:00 pm. Bring your Off-Campus Forms completed with all signatures, pay the $5 fee (cash only) and exchange your regular I.D. for your Off-Campus Badge.
- Elections for Student Council Home Room Representatives will be held the first week of school. Please speak with your sponsor or Ms. Smith in the main office if you are interested in serving.
- The Sophomore/Junior Parent Meeting will be held Thursday, January 8, 2009, at 6:30 pm. PSAT scores will be distributed and there will be split informational sessions to help prepare your child for graduation and assist you in the college planning process. Sophomore parents will meet in the Auditorium and junior parents will meet in the Mini-Theatre.
