WHAT WE NEED
- Text—type or write legibly
- Photos—do not cut, tape, glue, or write on your photos
- Money
- Credit cards are accepted via www.smart-pay.com
- Cash is accepted at Westside.
HOW DO I GET STARTED?
- Choose the photos and text you would like to be used for your ad.
- You may submit your photos and text via www.smart-pay.com, or you may bring your photos and text to room S124 during lunch or 5th period. You may bring photos and text to E229 before or after school.
- You may turn in a print-ready ad on CD saved as a jpeg or pdf (300 resolution), or you can let the yearbook staff design the ad for you for a $10 custom design fee.
HELPFUL HINTS . . .
- You may turn in photos on a CD or hard copies. DO NOT SUBMIT ORIGINALS OR ONE OF A KIND PHOTOS; they will not be returned. We recommend you get photo quality copies of your pictures made or scan them onto a CD (300 dpi resolution).
- We cannot print copyrighted photos.
- Copyrighted text cannot be printed. This includes song lyrics, poetry, excerpts from books, quotes, and other published materials.
- If this is a surprise for your senior, please let us know so that we do not contact them directly.
- We will not publish any ads with profanity, nudity, weapons, alcohol, or anything the advisers feel is inappropriate.

NOTE: The deadline for all ads is December 5, 2008. By that date, we must have all photos, text, and payment for your ad.
The Canidae is produced by students in an academic environment. The yearbook staff will choose fonts and colors that compliment your ad and fit in with the overall design of the 2009 yearbook.
