Financial support from our parents and the Westside community enables us to provide our students and staff with additional services, programs, materials and equipment. Throughout the year, different Westside organizations hold fundraisers to benefit their individual programs or the school as a whole. Information will be posted here as it becomes available.

Westside PTO Kicks Off “Dollars for Scholars 2008”
Want to make a positive impact on every student at WHS? Make a contribution to Dollars for Scholars and you will be making a difference in the educational experience of every student in the school.
Dollars for Scholars is the annual check-writing campaign that gives parents, community members and businesses the opportunity to contribute to student success by supporting PTO programs that supplement and enhance the educational experience of all students. Dollars for Scholars helps fund PTO scholarships, student and teacher appreciation, and grounds maintenance and beautification, and also provides support for the Library, Fine Arts, numerous curriculum-based and academic programs, and much more. In addition, last year the PTO was also able to help purchase the new electronic marquee, award a record $13,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors and invest $10,000 in the school’s library.
Your contribution makes a difference, no matter if it is $5 or $500. Participation is simple…write a check and you are done! No gift wrap catalogs, no auction dinners. Donation forms can be downloaded here and are available in the main office. Please consider making a difference for every student by making a family donation to Dollars for Scholars, and ask your employer about matching fund opportunities. Westside has just joined the new Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Donation Program, which takes the place of the Kroger Share Card Program. Simply give this form to the cashier, and the WHS code will be programmed to your KrogerPlus Card. A portion of each purchase you make with your KrogerPlus Card will be donated to Westside! The donations the WHS PTO receives through the Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Donation Program will be shared equally by the Athletic Booster Club (ABC), the Westside Music Boosters and the PTO! - Ranger American Security
