How do I create a new spreadsheet for the new grading period?

Rather than creating a new gradebook for each new grading period, InteGrade Pro has the ability to create one gradebook per teacher for the entire school year. As changes are made to the schedule and school rosters, the Chancery system will automatically import new information into the teacher's gradebook. In order to start with a new, blank spreadsheet for a continuing class you will need to complete the following steps:

Creating a New Spreadsheet in an Existing Gradebook

1. Select the class you want to create a new spreadsheet for using the pull down menu labeled Class.

2. Click on the Setup menu.

3. Click on Spreadsheets.

4. Click the New button in the lower left corner of the Spreadsheets window.

5. Choose Create a Numeric Spreadsheet and then click Next. (You can choose one of the other choices, but in most cases this is what teachers will use.)

6. Type a name for the new spreadsheet "?nd 6wks" and then click Next.

7. Select either Weighted Type or Total Points (the more common use is as a total points type).

8. Click Create.

9. Click Close.

10. Go to the pull down menu labeled Spreadsheet (where the Main Numeric spreadsheet is listed) and select the new spreadsheet that you created.

11. You can now enter grades in a clean spreadsheet for the new grading period.
