Job description: Example: Eight (8) Seasonal Hire temporary positions are located at UT Health Science Recreation Center. Duties include experience working with people of all ages and some related pool supervising role such as lifeguard, swim team and swim lessons. Pool attendants will help maintain and operate basic pool maintenance to include vacuuming, cleaning tile, straightening pool furniture and hosing down pool deck periodically. Mainly observe and monitor pool and pool deck areas to ensure that participants are complying with facility rules and enforce rules.
Swim Instructors will conduct swim lessons using lesson plans.
It is possible for selected candidate to serve both roles or be assigned specifically to teaching lessons.
Hours: varies: 25-40 hours per week
Requirements: Seasonal Hires must be hired in a temporary status and therefore may not be employed for a period of more than four and one-half months. These individuals may be hired either as full-time or part-time and must be a minimum age of 16 years.
