Young Frankenstein is about
the time when Dr.Frederick Frankenstein(Gene Wilder) inherits his grandfather's castle and continue's his crazy experiments. The story starts out with Dr. Frankenstein teaching students to become neurosurgons. He introduces himself as "Fronkensteen" because he is trying to live down his grandfather's infamous legacy. He then finds out that he has inherited his grandfather's castle. When he gets there he meets Igor(Marty Feldman), Igna(Teri Garr), and Frau Blücher (Cloris Leachman). While in the castle, he finds the book that his grandfather used to do his infamous experiment which leads Dr. Frankenstein to try the experiment himself. He ends up raising the Monster(Peter Boyle) and they find out that he wasn't the horrific beast that everyone said he was. This movie is a spoof on all of the frankenstein movies that are out there. there are little tid bits of comedy in there that you have to listen for to find. One that I found funny was where Dr. Frankenstein and Igna are standing outside the castle and he exclaims "my what big knockers", talking about the ones on the door, and Igna says "Why thank you". Igor is a little squat man who initially makes fun of the way that Dr. Frankenstein pronounces his name. Overall if you like spoofs and don't care what color its in, then Young Frankenstein is a movie that you should see.
