Publish Web Site

You have been assigned a web account at hostpc.com.  (Tech fee ? )

(Technology Application fee must be paid before web site is made public)
Please print copy of technology fee letter to parents if you need to take care of this!  There is a link on the first page of the online lessons.

FTP address: ftp://whstech.com
Username: (studentfolder)@whstech.com
Password: same as the one you use on the student server

local site: Wsidehs-rs05\(your folder)

remote site: whstech.com/(your folder)       

URL: http://whstech.com/(folder on the student server)/first

Directions:

Right click on start to open explore.  Repeat.  Once two ‘windows explore’ are open, tile vertically.  In the address of the LEFT screen type ftp://whstech.com.  In the address of the RIGHT screen, navigate to your folder on the student server.

Create a first folder on the whstech.com screen (LEFT).

Copy and paste portfolio.html and portfolio.png (or portfolio.gif) FROM the student server TO  whstech.com (copy from right side; paste to right side).

Open the first folder on both sides.  Copy the images folder from the student server and paste it to whstech.com.

Copy each of the html files from the student server (there should be at least four) and past them to the whstech.com side.
