The Mission of the Academy for Business, Law, and International Studies is to provide every student with the opportunity to unite the world of ideas to the world of policy by providing an environment that will focus on multi-disciplinary and interdisciplinary learning.

The Business Law and International Studies Academy will provide you with the academic, elective classes and extra curricular activities to intrigue your learning.  You will experience a challenging academic environment with extensive cross – curricular activities in business, law and International Studies.

Law:

Activities/Organizations- Law Enforcement Explorers

Topics/Curriculum- Mock trial; prepare and maintain a portfolio; and learn technology skills required in a law enforcement career.

Related Careers- Attorney, Paralegal, Judge, FBI Agent, CIA Agent, DPS Officer, Private Investigator, Policeman, Security Officer, Border Patrol, Airport Security, Immigration & Naturalization Officer.

International Studies:

Activities/Organizations- Model United Nations Club

Topics/Curriculum - Study economies, world languages, world cultures, and political systems; develop skills in problem solving, critical thinking, and conflict resolution. Internship coop program in area of interest.
