The photos of “Lara” our very Special Lady Buff who originally competed from the neck up. The team is working to give her a complete body make-over so that she can look her best as she represents HISD, East Region, and Milby at the World Competition in Southfield, Michigan (Suburb of Detroit) on Saturday April 26, 2008. Teacher sponsors Lynn Smeets and Stephanie Hobbs will be chaperoning. Donations for their journey have been made by IPAA Doris Richardson and The Education Foundation of Harris County, Douglas Kleiner. Along with their extraordinary talents these student work with Southmayd,our feeder elementary, where they help the underclassmen with their pursuit of Robotic Engineering and Development.
