She is a very polite and respectful young lady. She has demonstrated her kindness and thoughtfulness with others by her volunteering to work very closely with a special student. They have bonded and she is able to get more from the student than I have ever seen. She was excited to partner with the student. She is always very pleasant and positive and more importantly, she is truly an excellent choice for the student of the month.”
Assist Principal Sandra Surginer reports, “It is my pleasure to support the recommendation for Whitney Hopkins as the “Play it Smart” Student of the Month. Whitney is one of my office student assistants. This is my third year of having students in my office and there are certain qualities that truly provide me the assistance I need. So, it is easy to notice a student that stands out. Whitney stands out with her self-initiative, maturity and ability to think quickly. She is a strong leader with an easy-going personality. I was not surprised to find out that her Volleyball Coach considers her one of her most valuable players. I wholeheartedly endorse Whitney Hopkins for this well deserved recognition.”
