Grading System

The evaluation of student achievements one of the most important functions of the teacher. The accepted marking system is as follows:

90-100
A
Excellent
80-89
B
Good
75-79
C
Average
70-74
D
Poor
Below 70
F
Failure
Incomplete
I

An incomplete is given only in those cases where illness, emergency, or by prearrangement, the student has not been able to complete his/her assignments. An incomplete becomes and "F" if make-up work is not completed. Make-up work is the complete responsibility of the student.

Students Grade Classification

Freshman Classification: Any student who has not met the requirement to be classified as a sophomore.
Sophomore Classification: A student must have a minimum of six (6) credits.
Junior Classification: A student must have a minimum of twelve (12) credits.
Senior Classification: A student must have a minimum of eighteen (18) credits.
