Senior Army Instructor (SAI): MAJ (Ret) Elijah Thomas Jr. was assigned to Kashmere Sr. High School as the SAI effective September 1, 1999. He is a graduate of Florida A & M University and was commissioned through its Senior Army ROTC program. He is a graduate of the United States Army Command and General Staff College. He served 20 years on active duty as an Infantry Officer. His prior positions include Platoon Leader, Company Commander, Company & Battalion Executive Officer, Brigade Logistic Officer and Professor of Military Science and Department Chairperson of the Military Science Department. His awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Airborne Badge and Expert Infantry Badge.	Associate Instructor (AI): MSG Wanda Pegues was assigned to Kashmere Sr. High School as the AI on February 1, 2006 after retiring from the U.S Army with 26 years of active duty service. She holds an Associate in Science degree in Business Administration. Her prior positions include Aviation Battalion Operations Sergeant, Acting First Sergeant while serving a tour of duty in Kuwait (2004) and Senior Personal Sergeant. Her awards and decoration includes the Meritorious Service Medal, Crew Chief Wings and Expert Marksmanship Badge.
