Dear Student,
What a wonderful time it is to be a senior. Yes, it is finally here, the 2007-2008 school year. The time you have been dreaming, planning, and thinking about for the last eleven years.
Welcome to the world of “Government”. I am delighted to have you in my class. As your teacher, I have high expectations for our time together this semester. You are the “class with class “, and I expect and will accept nothing but your best at all times.
You make the class what you want it to be. A writer once said “excuses are monuments of nothingness”. I will not accept them. Therefore, you are expected to do the job assigned.
You are the senior class of Kashmere Senior High School. Your responsibility is to behave and exemplify the personality of a mature senior. Set your long term and short term goals. Make them reasonable and obtainable. Remember, you do not represent yourself alone, but you represent your family, your school, your community, your country, and the mighty seniors of 2008.
Sincerely,
Rose M. Durant
