I am Rose M. Durant and I will be your child’s Government and Economics’ teacher.  I look forward to a fantastic school year as your child’s teacher.  I am also happy about the opportunity to work with you so that together we will ensure the success of your child.

 

Every child is special and I expect nothing but the best from each student.  I am familiar with “seniorities”.  This is the time of life that students know everything and teachers and parents know very little. (Parents, this too will pass.)  Therefore, I want to work together with you to assure that your child gains the wisdom, maturity, and knowledge she/he needs to go on to the next level.

 

Please feel free to contact me whenever you have questions or concerns about your child’s Government class.  You can contact me at school or your child will have my number so that you can contact me during the night if you work during the day.

 

Your child will receive a syllabus detailing the class and all requirements needed to be successful in this class.  As a young adult, your child will be held responsible for all assignments, books, and materials for this class.  Thus my motto is;

 

NO EXCEPTIONS AND NO EXCUSES ARE ALLOWED!
