When cell phones or other electronic devices are confiscated at school, students are required to pay a $15 fee in the main office to reclaim their property. Transactions are handled after school.

and students could get an HISD email account with a personal calendar? Well, it’s available now at The Source - HISD Student Parent Portal! Students and parents can register at www.houstonisd.org/thesource. (Please make sure you have your student’s ID number before logging on and click the appropriate tab, parent or student, when registering.) It will also ask for the last 4 digits of the student’s social security number but you can check the box indicating “not available”
if one is not on file at the school. Please email The Source help@houstonisd.org or contact the Help Desk at 713- 892 7378 (SERV) if you need assistance with registration, password resets or if you have general questions about The Source or Parent Zone.
When emailing or contacting the Help Desk, please have the following information available: Student ID Number, Student Name, Student Campus Name and a clear description of the problem, error message, etc

Parent Volunteers

Register with the HISD VISITS system by going to the HISD website www.houstonisd.org and clicking on the VIPS red apple on the right hand side. Your background check cannot be processed until you complete this step. Note-if you have completed this step in a previous year, you do not have to register again. Please check with Sandra Vargas in the Main Office as to your clearance status
