Principal's Message

It is my pleasure to extend greetings to our Empowerment Families, Friends and Community! Empowerment College Preparatory High School is one of the best schools in the Houston Independent School District. Our school's collective purpose is to make a positive impact within our community. Since our opening in 2005, EHS students have donated over 16,000 hours of community service to the greater Houston area. In addition to our service, our students step up to the challenge of becoming college ready by pursuing an education here which consists of a curriculum with all pre-Advanced Placement (AP), AP Dual Credit course work. We have a staff that is committed to the mission of our school and works tirelessly to support our students and families to make sure our high school graduates become college graduates. I am most proud of our faculty advisors who take on a personal challenge to help each of their advisees reach their full potential.
