Summer 2009

"The Final Frontier"

Purpose of Summer Program-

  • To prepare students for the rigors of the upcoming year in all core academics and specific pieces of literature

  • To provide students with skills necessary to master the Compass test

  • To improve the skills of students with average grades

  • To offer creative outlets to students, as well as cross-curricular projects and experiments

  • To bolster TAKS skills in all four testing areas

Candidates-

  • Current EECHS freshman and sophomore students who have not failed any courses

Subject areas-

  • Math, science, social studies, English
