Welcome to the homepage of the Michael E. DeBakey High School for Health Professions. We are a public magnet high school which represents a partnership between the Houston Independent School District and Baylor College of Medicine.

DeBakey High School for Health Professions is a U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon School for 1997, a New American High School, a 2003 "No Child Left Behind Blue Ribbon School" and in 2003 we had the highest SAT scores in the Houston ISD.
