Student Identification Badges |

|
Student ID badges must be worn over the student's outermost
garment at all times on campus. Badges may only be worn with
a standard school-issued lanyard. Other chains, cords, and
unauthorized lanyards are not permitted. Student ID badges
are the property of HISD and must be surrendered upon request
by any district employee. The bar code on each badge permits
access to student services such as library materials, athletic
events, lunches, and special events throughout the school
year. Students must protect their badges and not allow any
others to use them. It is the responsibility of the student
to immediately replace a lost or stolen badge at a cost of
$5.00.
