I was born and raised in Abilene, Texas. After graduating from McMurry University, I taught at Wylie-Abilene for two years as a CATE teacher.  I moved to Ohio where I was a Graduate Assistant at Miami University for one year. I need  3 more classes for my Master’s in Curriculum and Leadership.  After that, I taught in the DFW area for 4 years. Then, I migrated south to HISD first as an ESL Teacher and now as an Academy Principal.  I received a Master’s Degree in School Administration from Sul Ross State University.

 My hobbies include traveling, music, reading, cooking, and spending time with my daughter (Sierra).
