Activity 5H- Spreadsheet
Microsoft Excel-Charts



1.  Launch the application Microsoft Excel
2.  You will create a spreadsheet document by doing the following.
3.  Set up cell A1 as NAME
4.  Set up cells B1 as SALES
5.  Add six names in cells A3-A8 (Last, First)
6.  Enter sales figures for each person.
7.  For all cells that have numbers in them set the cell attributes to currency.
8.  Go to the menu View and select Header.
9.  For the header type in the following: Name, Date, Period, Station, Activity 5H
10.  Highlight the two columns of information.
11.  Select the Chart Wizard icon.
12  Under the Chart Type select the Pie.
13  Under Sub-chart type select a chart type.
14.  Select next, next, and then title the chart SALES.
15.  Select next, then Finish.

16.  From the File menu select Page/Print Setup and select landscape.
17. Select the area to print.
18. Select the Borders tab and then select the icon that will print a grid as instructed.

19.  Save this document.
20.  Print and turn in your Spreadsheet.
