Designing A Certificate
Activity 5G
1. Using PrintShop ™ you will design a Certificate
for yourself. Be positive.
2. Open the application PrintShop ™ on the Mac or the PC. You
may also use AppleWorks ™ for this activity.
3. Select Certificates.
4. Select Start from Scratch.
5. Pick Wide (landscape) for the layout.
6. Do not use a backdrop.
7. Add a headline.
8. Add text boxes as needed.
9. Add some type of clipart.
10. Add Text Box and include your name, date, period, station
and activity.
11. Add text boxes and arrange them on your certificate
for each of the following items:
A. Signature line.
B. Date
C. Name of the award.
D. Houston Independent School Dist.
E. Career and Technology Education.
F. Computer Applications.
12. Add a border.
13. Print the certificate in color.
14. Sign it and turn it in .
