Taking and Editing Digital Images

1.  Check out the digital camera.
2.  Place your diskette in the camera. (Mavica only)
3.  You will need to get another student to take your photograph.
4.  Frame the shot.  (portrait style)
5. Take the photograph.
6.  Eject the disk from the camera. (Mavica only)
7.  Insert the disk into the disk drive of your computer. or connect the camera to your USB drive.
8.  Open a paint program on your computer.
9.  Open or import your image.
10.  Reduce the size of your image by at least 50%.
11.  Save  the changes to the file.
12.  Center the image on the page.
13.  Crop the image.
14.  Draw a frame around the image
15.  Creatively type your name under the image.
16. Place the proper heading at the top left.
17.  Save the changes.
18.  Print and turn in.
