LANGUAGE ARTS DEPARTMENT
The Language Arts Department is a cohesive group comprised of willing teachers who are committed to the academic growth and achievement of the students at Waltrip High School.
Courses offered include:
- English 9 - 12
- Pre-IB English 9 and 10 (International Baccalaureate)
- IB English 11 and 12
- Magnet English 9 12
- Transitional English ESL (English as a Second Language)
- Beginning to Advanced ESL including ESL Reading Improvement
- Reading Improvement
- Public Speaking/Speech

- Practical Writing
