	The Linda Lorelle Scholarship Recipient Laura Campos, a senior attending S. P. Waltrip High School is a recipient of the 2007 Linda Lorelle Scholarship. Laura was awarded the twelve thousand dollars scholarship at the Annual Linda Lorelle Scholarship Fund Gala held on Saturday, September 15, 2007 at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Houston. The mission of the Linda Lorelle Scholarship Fund is to provide college scholarships and guidance to Houston area high school students in need of financial assistance who’s academic and personal potential may be unfulfilled due to circumstances beyond their control. Laura is enrolled in the Transportation Engineering and Design Academy and plans to attend Rice University upon graduation next May.
