Sharpstown High School a Houston Independent

The
Mighty Apollo Baseball team started this season off by "Wearing Furr
like a Coat", as they defeat Furr High School 5 -1 in the season
scrimmage opener on Friday February 8th, 2008.
Pitcher Michael Martinez lead the team by pitching a 1 hit and 1 walk
record as he pitched the first 2 innings of the game.
There
were several fans on-hand to help cheer the team to victory. As
Shapstown is gaining athletic and academic success, you can feel the
Apollo Pride rising all-through the campus.
There has been a noticeable incline in student and fan support with all
sports on campus.
As the level of success improves, so does the moral,
which is just one of the factors contributing to the reputation that
Sharpstown High is becoming "The New School of Choice".
