Barbara Jordan H.S. About Us: 

Barbara Jordan is a magnet school that makes it possible for students to earn a high school diploma while acquiring career and technical skills in their chosen career pathway.

We are committed to our mission of providing students with a challenging, rewarding, and nurturing environment which will enable them to become productive members of society.

Barbara Jordan High School for Careers is a public school located at 5800 Eastex Freeway Houston, Texas, United States.

Jordan serves grades 9 through 12 and is a part of the Houston Independent School District.

Jordan has two magnet programs: a program for pupils who will enter the workforce after graduation for high school, and a program for high school-aged deaf pupils.

The school was named after Barbara Jordan.
