Darrell Green (2/15/1960)

 

  • Graduated from Jesse H. Jones High School in 1978

  • Attended Texas A&I University (Now Univ. of Texas at Kingsville)

  • Drafted in the first round by Washington Redskins in 1983.

  • Crowned the world's fastest man in 1991.

  • Played for the Redskins for 20 years.

  • Founded the Darrell Green Youth Life Foundation (DGYLF)

  • Chairman of President Bush’s Council on Service and Civic Participation

  • Received Bachelor of Science degree in general studies and social science at St. Paul’s College in Lawrenceville, Virginia

  • Married to Jewell Green with three children.

 

 

Daniel Gibson (2/27/1986)

 

  • Graduated 6 out of 212 from Jesse H. Jones High School in 2004.

  • Attended and majored in corporate communications at University of Texas.

  • McDonald’s All-American recruit and a Second-Team Parade All-American.

  • Finished his high school career as the all-time leading scorer in Houston high school basketball,

  • Drafted in the 2nd round (42nd overall) by the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2006

  • Currently the starting point guard for the cavaliers.

 

 

 

 

 

Alfred Williams (11/06/1968)<<Selection in Document>>

  • Graduated from Jesse Jones High School in 1987, where he was a first-team USA Today All-American selection, and where he captained the basketball and track teams.

  • Williams played linebacker at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He was a consensus All-American and a Butkus Award winner. 

  • Williams was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the first round in 1991.

  • Stints at  linebacker and defensive end for the Cincinnati Bengals, San Francisco 49ers and the Denver Broncos. 

  • Earned two Super Bowl rings with the Broncos 1997 and 1998.

  • He retired from the game after the 1999 season.

  • Co-hosts Scott & Al radio-show on The Fan 950 in Denver, CO

  • He has 4 sons.
