Here’s some information you and your family will want to consider as you make your summer plans:
June 9, 2008 – June 13, 2008: New student conferences for course selections
and 4-year plans will be held Monday, June 9, 2008 through Friday, June 13,
2008 from 8:30 AM until 4:00 PM. Ms. Harris will schedule appointments from
May 27, 2008 through May 30, 2008 between 8:00AM and 4:00PM. A copy of the
student’s final report card and documentation showing grade(s) received and
credit(s) awarded for high school courses taken in middle school are mandatory
to complete the course request process.
DeBakey High School for Health Professions will offer a six-week
non-transferable Algebra I course for ACCEPTED NINTH GRADERS WHO HAVE NOT
RECEIVED HIGH SCHOOL CREDIT (1.0) FOR THIS COURSE. The tuition-free Math-Academy
will be Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am until 12:00 noon, beginning
Wednesday, June 4th and ending Wednesday, July 16th. School will be closed on
Friday, July 4th for the Independence Day holiday. Transportation must be
provided by parent(s). If you have any questions, please call us at (713)
