The Senior Corner

Graduation is scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 10 a.m. (George R. Brown Convention Center, Exhibit Hall 3)

Graduation will take place at the George R. Brown Convention Center. (Please check with the counselors and/or the senior class sponsors as the date approaches, in case there are any changes in the date/time.)

Information about Senior Final Exam Exemptions

A student may be considered for final exam exemption in a course in the spring semester if they meet ALL of the following requirements:

  1. they have at least an 85 average (all three six weeks averaged together) in the course;
  2. they have not more than 3 absences (excused + unexcused) in the spring semester in the course (extra curricular and co-curricular do not count unless the student has surpassed 5 extracurricular absences at which time, any remaining extracurricular absences would be considered unexcused absences);
  3. they have no S's, P's or U's for the spring semester in the course;
  4. they have no S's, P's or U's for office conduct (homeroom conduct);
  5. they have not more than 3 ADA absences (excused + unexcused for periods A2 and B2 combined)
