Education, Family & Social Sciences Academy
The goals of the Education, Family & Social Sciences Academy at Austin High School are to:
  • Help students develop the ability to think critically, independently and globally
  • Prepare students to be life-long learners
  • Provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary for educational, professional and personal success

If your answer is “Yes!” to any of these questions, you should apply to the Education Pathway of our Academy.  This pathway is for students enrolled in Austin High School for Teaching Professions and requires that you submit an application to be evaluated by the magnet coordinator.  Call Ms. Koch at 713-924-1600, or come by A201, if you are interested in this pathway.

Would you like to know the best way to meet nutritional and developmental needs of a family?

If these things appeal to you, you would probably enjoy the Family and Consumer Sciences Pathway in our Academy
