9th Grade Academy
The goal of the Austin High School 9th Grade Academy is to help incoming freshmen adjust to the busy high school life. This goal is achieved by:
  • Encouraging our students to excel academically and to maintain an excellent attendance record.
  • Introducing our students to the various student clubs and organizations and helping them balance active participation in these.
  • Grouping the students into smaller group clusters where the teachers can work together to assist the students in coping up with the academic and social changes.
  • Encouraging our parents to become actively involved in all aspects of our academy.
